Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster review | TechnobubbleĮvil Within, The Consequence DLC review | Technobubbleĭead but rising: Resident Evil HD Remaster review | Technobubble UMBRELLA CORPORATION FULLInstead, I wish the game implemented Star Wars: Battlefront’s option to play either full first-person or third-person and switch between both on the fly. That’s not good in a game where humans or zombies can sneak up on you. Umbrella Corps’ hybrid view, however, ends up being a worst-of-both-worlds deal where, unless aim down your sights, a big chunk of the screen is obstructed. I’m one who actually loves third-person shooters and wish there were more of them. First, you have the strange schizophrenic view that appears to be stuck in between a first- and third-person camera. While the setup sounds intriguing and makes me wish even more that it had a campaign, however, the execution doesn't quite pan out. Umbrella Corps is based on the skirmishes between competing mercenary teams, who have no qualms about taking each other out to fulfill the task at hand. In an attempt to secure the data, these firms have hired mercenaries to infiltrate the facilities and secure the research. It’s data that remains valuable to many competing corporations, particularly when it comes to Umbrella’s Bio Organic Weapon or BOW technology. Unlike ORC, Umbrella Corps takes place after the fall of the notorious company, which continues to hold valuable research in the ruins of its facilities. ![]()

![]() “Pulling” a print refers to forcing the ink through the screen with the squeegee. This operation is referred to as pulling a screen since the squeegee is usually drawn toward the printer for the print stroke (Figure B). Most screen printing techniques use a squeegee to evenly force the printing medium through the screen onto the print surface. Using a frame that won’t warp or distort the screen is important for reuse. Many screens are stapled or glued to a wooden frame, but there are lots of ways to use metal or even plastic frames. The screen maintains its stretch by attachment to a frame of some sort. ![]() Only areas where ink should pass are left unblocked. Synthetic materials have largely replaced silk over the years, but the name remains. Screen printing is often called “silk screening” because silk was once the best available material. The blocking, or resist, creates a negative image on the screen of what you want on the printed surface (Figure A). The fundamental concept of screen printing is to stretch some kind of tightly woven material and block specific parts of the material so that when ink (or paint) is forced through it, the ink only passes through the unblocked portions. As with many interesting skills, incredible results can be achieved by learning the subtleties of the art. The basic activity is dead simple and can be done with surprisingly primitive equipment. T-shirts may be the most popular choice, but there are many other uses for this venerable technique. #MAKING SCREEN PRINTS LARGER THAN LIGHT PROFESSIONAL#Of the many printing processes that continue to have utility, screen printing manages to remain a viable practice among professional and DIY users. The market for printing presses may have receded, but it hasn’t disappeared. Yet computer printing’s predecessors remain in use. T-shirt transfers, stickers, business cards, transparencies, and other media are common materials for personal computer users. The materials they print on are also varied and easy to acquire. Inkjet printers are so cheap that they frequently cost less than the refills of their ink. This happened in the 15th century and again in the 20th. One of the earliest tool sets that changed the world after it became democratized was printing. Capabilities once reserved for professional or academic users have become staples of our daily lives. The enthusiasm of the open source and maker movements has led to quite a democratization of tools. Don’t have a subscription yet? Get one today. Read articles from the magazine right here on Make. There will be no way to shuffle by “disc” without being able to populate the GROUPING field, and doing it manually for so many files is ABSURD.ĭoes anyone have any ideas how I can access this GRP1 tag? With anything, but I’m especially interested in continuing to use MP3tag because of it’s extreme flexibility to use variables, scripts, etc., ability to read and write to any number of files a time, and to read and write through an entire folder/subfolder tree.Īny help would be appreciated, thank you very much!!"We can hear everything we measure, but we can't measure everything we hear. It seems that every time Apple makes and “update” to iTunes I lose far more functionality than I gain. MP3Tag can read and write ID3v1, ID3v2, and ID3v2. I can “create” a new tag in MP3Tag called GRP1 and populate it, but when I import the file to iTunes there is nothing in the GROUPING tag, and when I look at the tags in the mp3 file after importing, the GRP1 tag I added manually is gone! However, I have tried this and it doesn’t show up.Īdditionally, when I manually populate the GROUPING field, I see no GRP1 tag in MP3Tag – I don’t see the GROUPING information at all. You said that I can use a GRP1 field – meaning I should be able to use MP3Tag to populate this tag in ID3, which I can to for hundreds or more files at a time in seconds, and then when I import the files to iTunes I should see the entries in the GROUPING field in iTunes. MANUALLY adding the Grouping field is IMPOSSIBLE for thousands of tracks. Shuffling Songs is NOT what I want, and shuffling Albums can be too large – some of my albums are “Complete Works” and are 80 discs or more!! So I shuffle by Grouping – in this case it shuffles by disc! Now, iTunes has screwed this up. The reason for this is that the ONLY options for Shuffle/Random are Songs, Albums, or Groupings. I do this to add a unique GROUPING to each actual disc. When I rip a new CD or get a download, I used mp3tag (which can use formulas) to add a GROUPING by writing to the ID3 tag CONTENTGROUP. I use mp3tag to tag my thousands of classical music files. #SONGKONG REPLACE ARTIST WHEN NEVER REPLACE CHOSEN DOWNLOAD#Note that this information should be available in the iTunes Store and on Apple Music in the future, so music you match, stream, or download should have better tags for classical music. Ideally, I’d see a way to click a disclosure triangle next to the first movement of a work to show a single line for that work and all its tracks, so you can manipulate it better, adding it to a playlist or Up Next, for example, or double-clicking it to play a work.īut this is real progress from Apple, which has long suggested that it wasn’t interested in classical music in iTunes. And there’s no way (yet) to link these movements together. In Playlist view, since the artists’ names are long, you don’t see any of this information. This is a huge improvement, though it’s not perfect. Here’s an example of how this can look in Songs view: You can enter the work name, and the movement number (n of n), as well as the movement name. To edit these tags, select a track, and then click the Song Name text the two little arrows are a hint that this is actually a popup menu. As you can see at the left, the Other section of the View Options window lets you choose to display these tags. In the latest beta of iTunes 12.5, which is part of the beta of macOS Sierra, Apple has added some new tags: Work and Movement. While it does have a Grouping tag, which the iTunes Store uses for that purpose, iTunes itself doesn’t allow you to display music efficiently with that tag. It holds “songs,” not tracks, and doesn’t have the concept of a “work,” a multi-movement piece of music. Classical music fans have long complained about iTunes, and the way it organizes music that just doesn’t work well with classical music. ![]() ![]() ![]()

MANILA, Philippines – If you've watched Jung Hae-in's latest Korean dramas, you've probably seen him already play such diverse roles – from sweet Han Woo-tak in While You Were Sleeping, "demon" Captain Yoo in Prison Playbook, to swoony Seo Joon-hee in Something in the Rain. Something in the Rain is also available on Netflix.'SOMETHING IN THE RAIN.' Korean actor Jung Hae-in shares to Rappler his favorite lines from his most recent drama. We smiled at the ending scene, but it would have been nicer if we smiled longer for sure. I was really checking the time and was worried on how the loose ends would be tied up on the last two chapters.Īlthough the happy ending happened, it felt a little cramped and rushed. It would have been a more solid ending if the road to the love couple’s second chance on love was lengthened. If you are needing a binge-worthy romance story, consider adding Something in the Rain to your watchlist. That has been one of the myriad takeaways you can ruminate about in the drama. True love has its own way of proving a relationship that did not initially work – may still work at the right time. Something in the Rain reinvents the romance drama landscape with how it fervently keeps the serenity of the storytelling by its heartfelt dialogues and spontaneous scenarios. It had always been clear on presenting the discords, and providing the solution. The whole stretch of the drama was embellished with noteworthy life affirming lessons about friendship, love, family and various relationship without overwhelming the scenarios with circling resolutions. But you won’t know if it’s for you, if you won’t try. Uncertainties are inevitable on any love starting point. When she mustered courage to be with Jun Hee by placing her hand on his, he returned it by showering her with all the love that he could ever give. Jun Hee made her realize that she could be in love and not be in a relationship, and she could be in a relationship without love. The simple yet emotionally crippling conflict of how Jin Ah and Jun Hee were almost family (Therefore, their family would most likely not approved of their affair.) spun the central problem of Something in the Rain.Īs broken as she could be, Jin Ah held on to that glimpse of hope that after all her failed relationships, someone would come along and be worth all the troubles he could give. It sure had candied episodes to bask on, but it cut painfully deep when it had to. On its waning moment, it bounced back from the emotional setback and ultimately sending the message of how true love can happen again at a different time but on the same person.įrom its onset, Something in the Rain was clear on not sugar-coating the romance. Hence, when it hit the aggravating point of the conflict, it became easier for watchers to accept the hard decision of the characters to stop the relationship. Jin Ah and Jun Hee’s love chronicle generally ran on a soothing note and gave what was needed for in the narrative. ![]() Something in the Rain capitalizes on how the yarning of the chronicle felt like love spurt after another, which kept its pace steady and affecting to the audience who have most likely related to the bliss and pain of falling in love. In modern, multicultural U.K., there is plenty of competition for the National dish. The same practice was observed during World War II, when Winston Churchill famously referred to a hot meal of fish and chips as “the good companions.”Īccording to legend, British soldiers storming the Normandy beaches on D-Day would identify each other by yelling out, “Fish,” and waiting for the barely coded response, “Chips.” In an effort to boost morale at home, Prime Minister David Lloyd George made sure that fish and chips stayed off the ration list (eggs, bread, and meat were on the list). and they even stayed open during World War I. And up near Manchester, the fish and chip stand opened by John Lees was doing a brisk business by 1863.īy 1910 there were 25,000 fish and chip shops in the U.K. The shop was so successful that it remained in business until the 1970s. Many food historians say that a Jewish cook, a young Ashkenezi immigrant named Joseph Malin, opened the first chippy in 1860 in London. It is difficult to pinpoint the precise arrival of fried potatoes in England, but by 1860 we see the very first fish and chips shops.Īs usual with food origins, there are competing claims for being the first British fish and chip shop. Going back to Charles Dickens, he mentions in his 1859 novel A Tale of Two Cities, “husky chips of potato fried with some reluctant drops of oil,” which means that chips had definitely reached England by mid-century. The story goes that in 1680 winter was so cold that the River Meuse (located in present day Belgium) froze over and that the women in the area would turn to cutting potatoes in the shape of fish and frying them in a bit of oil so as to provide sustenance for their families. Food historians do know that it took a really long time for fried potatoes (or potatoes of any kind) to make their way to England.īelgium stakes a claim as the inventor of fried potatoes. Nobody is entirely sure how fried potatoes became a part of the European diet. That basically covers the fish bit, but what about the second half of the dish? THE CHIP MYSTERY Fried fish consumption rocketed with these technological advances. by the second development, extensive railroad lines. First, the advent of industrial scale trawl fishing in the North Sea meant that inexpensive fish could be transported to all corners of the U.K. And for that food historians credit two developments. In his London based novel Oliver Twist (1837), Charles Dickens refers to “fried fish warehouses,” the forerunner to the modern chippie where bread or baked potato were served alongside the fish.Ī little later, in 1845, cook and writer Alenis Soyer in his first edition of A Shilling Cooking for the People gave a recipe for “Fried Fish, Jewish Fashion” which was fish dipped into a batter of flour and water and then fried.īut it wasn’t until the latter part of the 19th century that Jewish fried fish fully made the cultural transfer from the streets of London to the broader British populace. That’s the equivalent of six servings of fish and chips to every British man, woman, and child. serving 360 million meals of fish and chips every year. Today, there are still 10,500 “chippies” in the U.K. Whether eaten on a plastic tray on your lap in front of the “telly” or gobbled down from a makeshift paper cone on the way home from the pub, a meal of fish and chips is like a serving of deep fried nostalgia in the UK – and let’s not forget a sprinkling of salt and vinegar.Īt the dish’s peak of popularity in the late 1920s, there were 35,000 fish and chips shops in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland). The irresistible combination of a hunk of battered cod resting atop a mound of steaming hot chips (french fries in America) is the quintessential British comfort food. The pairing of fish and chips has long been considered a British staple. Well, we were a little surprised with what we found out and we think you will be too. Here at Skull Creek Dockside we serve a classic rendition of the dish and thought it would be fun to investigate the origins of what we believed was a classic British dish. But did you know that the first Friday in June every year is National Fish & Chips Day? This year (2021) it will be celebrated on June 4. Read on to hear the whole history of fish and chips and how it became an English staple! Like so many other famous dishes, fish and chips was created out of necessity, not culinary genius. The real history of Fish and Chips is traced back to 15th Century Portugal where the dish really was invented. Most people think that Fish and Chips originated in England, this is not actually true. ![]() ![]() The itchiness can be relieved with a Hydrocortisone Anti-Itch Cream.ģ0 year old male.
